What is Hot Mess? Hot Mess is an event and food service collective specializing in delicious noodley bites and colourful, funky vibes. From pop-up events, markets, and festivals to private functions, Hot Mess offers customized food services inspired by classic street-vendor fare to satisfy any hungry crowd.

Who is Hot Mess? Hot Mess is the brainchild and passion project of Steffi “hot mess” Campeau, and made possible by an amazing cast of collaborators, comrades and friends.

Where is Hot Mess? Located in Montreal, Hot Mess also maintains a presence in Ottawa and the Rideau Lakes region of Ontario. Indoors or out, in the city or under the trees, beach or fireside, we can bring the Mess.

When is Hot Mess? Day or night, Hot Mess is ready to sling succulent noods into hungry faces.

About Stephane “Steffi” Campeau.

Chef, curator, and multi-disciplinary artist, Steffi wears (and sometimes makes) many different hats. Unconventional by nature Steffi creates boldly and with wild intention. Deeply obsessed with noodles, Steffi began offering pop-up ramen services at small festivals in Ontario.

For the past 5 years, Steffi has honed his noodly craft, feeding hungry revellers at numerous festivals, parties and private functions. When he’s not in his happy place feeding the people, you can usually find Steffi on the nearest dancefloor, groovin’ with the people.

From hearty morning messes to tasty late-night snackies, we will customize the Hot Mess pop-up noodle bar and its menu to deliver the noms and vibes to your function.

Brothel is Hot Mess’ most ambitious offering. Available as a full sit-down service, enjoy bowls of our legendary home-made ramen with up to 40 of your closest friends.
